Staying busy, from Morgantown to Charleston

As 2008 rolls on, I am more and more excited about the new election season here in West Virginia.

I am looking forward to an encouraging Spring and then taking the fight to Darrell McGraw right up to November. Looking at the rest of the filings, I see a lot of good republican candidates up and down the ballot, and look forward to working with everyone to win victories for our state.

Even though I find myself spending more and more time on politics (spending time both on my own campaign and on following the other state and national elections), I still have a booming legal practice. Whats more, I have been working to fully launch my law practice down here in Charleston, truely making my law office a statewide endeavor.

Well, good luck to everyone else who has filed to run for office.... lets all keep the best interest of West Virginia at heart throughout the entire cycle, and we can be sure that its the state who will win in the end.

I have officially filed as a candidate for Attorney General

Yesterday, I went by Secretary Ireland's office to officially file to run for Attorney General.

Afterwards, I spent some time talking with members of the legislature milling around the Capitol where I received a lot of encouragement.

After filing, I was interviewed by a number of media members, and you can find stories about my candidacy in several papers around the state, with links to many of those stories at my website at http://www.savewv.com/.

Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to really stepping up my blog now that the campaign has "officially" begun.
